A specially designed Mothering Weekend Afternoon Tea is also available this year on Saturday 21st March and includes: a selection of sandwiches and savouries such as coronation chicken on turmeric bread with onion seeds; pastrami, Emmental, sauerkraut, gherkin, mustard mayo on toasted sourdough; crayfish and watercress on a brioche roll; crab Scotched quail egg; and sausage roll with pork, apple and fennel. Sweet treats include a raspberry and hibiscus macaroon; chocolate and hazelnut mousse cake; buttermilk panna cotta with seasonal rhubarb compote; and homemade fruit scone with Devonshire clotted cream and jam. Included is unlimited tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a small gift for all mothers’. The price per person is £24.00.
