A new date has been announced for the popular build a clay oven course on Sunday July 2, 2017.

Spend an enjoyable and instructive day learning how to build a clay oven with experienced tutor Bex Syrett. Her relaxed and friendly style will ensure participants learn all the essentials like where to site an oven, how to build the right kind of base and what kind of structure will keep an oven dry. With a bread oven on site at Fordhall, participants will be shown how to light and fire and will make pizzas or flatbread. All materials are provided as well as crucial notes so you can focus on building.

By the end of day, visitors will be confident to build their own oven from scratch at home, just in time for summer.
